Public Relations Associate
Description: Position Summary
The public relations manager at SecureWorks is responsible for assisting the VP of Corporate Communications and Director of Public Relations in managing media relations activities and the companys speakers bureau.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist in the authorship and pitching of feature stories to appear in local, regional and national print vehicles.
- Write company news releases and pitches to the media in order to position SecureWorks brand to the public.
- Facilitate interviews with the media when they want to speak with SecureWorks security experts.
- Assist in researching and coordinating various speaking opportunities across all key verticals and continue to grow the public speaking program to provide field expertise to the industry and trade associations looking for speakers to present at conferences, meetings and trade shows.
- Assist in planning and managing details for various annual state-wide information technology security conferences sponsored by SecureWorks.
- Assist in the application of industry-related awards to highlight SecureWorks accomplishments.
