Education Coordinator RN
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Develops, maintains and evaluates instructional materials.
Performs learning needs assessments.
Educates patients, families, and/or their significant others.
Develops, implements and evaluates educational programs.
Completes documentation.
Measures quality outcomes.
Functions as a part of the cardiac rehab team and the patient-care team.
Refers patients to Phase II/III/IV Cardiac Rehabilitation.
Participates in rotational training of new staff and student interns.
Performs nursing practice/teaching in accordance with Professional Practice Model for Piedmont Medical Center.
Assumes responsibility for maintaining own current competency file
