PDMA Audit & Security Specialist
Summary:
This position has the primary functional responsibility for assuring that all sample management activities and related systems used by the company in the US that are required by regulatory agencies or by UCB Pharma are compliant with applicable regulations (PDMA), policies, procedures, standards and guidelines.
Major Accountabilities:
-Provide comprehensive regulatory/compliance activities for all UCB sample management activities.
-Plan and direct internal audit activities as required by the Prescription Drug Marketing Act (PDMA).
-Conduct process audits relative to security, vendor qualification and system validations as required by PDMA relative to prescription drug sample management.
-Conduct and report internal and external audits independently, or with minimal supervision.
-Facilitate major investigations including coordinating investigations between field and home office processes and procedures.
-Audit vendors with respect to all relevant guidance, rules, regulations and requirements.
