Security Officer II
JOB DESCRIPTION: Patrols facilities and property and detects unauthorized persons or activities and unsafe conditions. Maintains visibility to deter criminal activity; reports violations to security control center. Provides restraint under lawful direction and administers first aid or CPR in emergency situations. Follows organizational guidelines in reporting security related information. Escorts individuals when requested to ensure the safety and security to destinations within organizational boundaries. Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A high school diploma or equivalent. One year of military or security experience. May required valid Georgia drivers license and insurable driving record. Ability to physically restrain individuals. Must successfully complete a psychological evaluation including fitness to carry a firearm, and eligibility to obtain an exposed weapon permit.
