Proposal Specialist
The responsibilities of a Proposal Specialist include day-to-day tasks involved with preparing responses to prospective and current client requests for proposal (RFP), requests for information (RFI) and other presentation/proposal documentation. The Proposal Specialist works with internal Manhattan Associates resources to ensure that responses are issued in a timely fashion in conjunction with the overall sales process, contain current correct content, and are delivered in a timely, professional manner.
The Proposal Specialist is responsible for working with global Sales Teams and technical experts to ensure that individual market requirements are met. The position of Proposal Specialist can expect irregular travel to take part in meetings and training.
Duties and responsibilities include the following, plus other duties that may be assigned as necessary:
Process RFPs, RFIs and other sales collateral for an international sales team, while assisting with other projects as necessary;
Work with sales operations members and subject matter experts to maintain and update proposal knowledge base;
Review and approve final response documents before transmittal;
