External Responsibilities:
Coordinates material handling activities, specifically:
-Receiving product from production lines into SAP by using RF scanners and moving product to staging or loading on trailers for warehouse transfers.
-Preparing material for shipment to bottlers and warehouses which requires palletizing, loading of material and monitoring FIFO and expiration dates.
-Picking, packing, and maintaining stock and locations of finished product line items, packaging line items and raw material line items using RF scanners.
-Loading carrier’s trailers.
-Unloading and unpacking incoming shipments. Inspecting, receiving and storing inbound material using appropriate equipment.
-Studying daily production schedule to determine most efficient order for movement of raw materials, finished products, etc.
