Prepares surfaces by scraping, wire brushing, masking, spackling, and sanding surfaces. Set up and operates a variety of particle/media blasting, water, air, and/or vapor blasting, nozzle blasting, portable blasting, and deburring machines to remove carbon, rust, paint, and specified amount of metal from a variety of materials such as brass, corrosion resistant steel, aluminum, iron, steel, monel, and other metals and nonmetals. Mixes, thins, blends, matches, tints, tones, and applies coating materials.
