Social Worker, Licensed - Inpatient Psych PRN
Qualifications:
Position requires Masters degree in Social Work and two years related experience in a hospital or medical setting. Licensure is required.
The successful candidate will have:
-Knowledge of principles and practice of social work.
-Knowledge of federal and state laws or regulations pertaining to social services and public assistance programs.
-Knowledge of group and family dynamics, community systems, welfare, and child development.
-Knowledge of and adherence to National Association of Social Worker’s Code of Ethics.
-Understanding of psychosocial aspects of illness and disability.
-Understanding of medical terminology and processes.
-Ability to intervene in problematic relationships to provide coordination with medical team.
-Ability to maintain effective working relationships with fellow employees, patients, families, and physicians
